We are an  r/c power , glider and electric club , flying all types of models from very small to very big ! Fixed wing mainly .

Multirotors( including  FPV ) and helicopters  subject to certain conditions. the situation for these to be assessed at the AGM.

 

We cater for novice and experts, tuition and advice is freely given for however long it takes. We teach safety and co-operation under the umbrella of the BMFA, our parent body. Our members include, instructors .and  examiners

 

The strip,  subject to weather,  is open 365 days of the year. Club and BMFA fees for top rate insurance are payable in January and during the year.
 

Our club meeting is held on the second tuesday of every month at Burnmoor Cricket Club (DH4 6EX)  starting at 8.00pm.

 

Situated on private land we have great views all around the field, likely to be some of the best in the North East. Our car park is situated off road in a corner of the field , although limited to space, and roadside parking is available ..

Our flying strip is mown grass area approx. 60 yards long x 40 yards wide.

We are situated 7 miles NW of Durham, 5 miles WSW of Chester-le-Street, 2 miles South of Stanley & 10 miles WSW of Newcastle,
